Nail Art 1: Panda

August 20, 2011

Because I’m stressed, I shopped for 5 Nail Lacquers πŸ™‚ Done this panda design, both on my left and right hand, manually! This one’s so hard to make! Hahaha! Anyways, there are still a lot of flaws, will improve it next time. And there’s no base and top coat yet, forgot to buy. Hehe. It’s still cute, right?

What you need:

  • White Nail Polish
  • Black Nail Polish
  • Base Coat
  • Top Coat
  • Toothpick
  • Paper
  • Bobby Pin (or anything with round tip)

Procedures:

  1. Start with clean nails and apply the base coat. Using the white polish, carefully make the panda’s head near the tip of your nail.
  2. Get the black polish and draw the ears, be careful on the length for the ears.
  3. Get the paper and put some black polish on it, a thick dot will do. Dip the tip of the bobby pin to the paper, then dab it on the panda head for the eyes.
  4. For the nose and inner eye, put a white polish on the paper. Same with step 4.
  5. Apply the topcoat. Be reminded that you have to apply every step when its dry already.

That’s it! What do you think? Cute, eh? Let me know! Anyways, enjoy making your own nail art! Try to experiment on your own! Let’s say goodbye to those plain boring nails! πŸ˜›

Those pandas are super cute! I kinda like them with no base color because it makes them look kinda cute like they’re little stickers stuck on your natural nails. And that’s great since you did it all by hand! Do you do any nail stamping or anything like that?
